notacloudserver.net
It is, despite the name, very much a server.
I work as a Senior IT Support Specialist, building tools, scripts and applications that help me work faster, develop my skills and spot issues early. Most of what you see here began with a simple thought: "Surely there is a way to automate or improve this."
The rest is a homelab, a 3D printer, a shelf of models, a lot of different projects, and whatever else has recently held my attention.

News
Opus 5.5 has arrived.
It works almost as well as Fable and uses a lot fewer tokens. But for how long?
I will be testing the model every day to see if it falls off, just like Codex Astra did.
Currently
- Building tooling for phishing triage, improving my IT-support skills and package testing.
- Running everything I can self-host on two machines at home.
- Painting more models than I finish.
- Finding out how much of my job an LLM can genuinely do or help improve.
Try this
- Drag a window by its title bar. The desktop icons are behind them.
- Tab to the grip in the title bar, then use the arrow keys.
- The yellow dot collapses a window, the green one maximises it.
- Double-click the wallpaper to put everything back.
